LiveNotch operates entirely locally on your Mac and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. Any data processed by LiveNotch stays on your device.

LiveNotch may access the following information locally on your device to provide its functionality:

• Music Information: Current playback status from Apple Music or Spotify
• Notifications: System notifications to display them in the Dynamic Island
• Timer Data: Active timers and their status
• Call Information: FaceTime call status (incoming, active, duration)
• System Preferences: Display settings and appearance preferences

All of this information is processed locally and never leaves your device.

3. No Analytics or Tracking

We do not use any analytics services, tracking pixels, or third-party monitoring tools. LiveNotch does not send any usage statistics, crash reports, or telemetry data to our servers or any third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

LiveNotch does not integrate with any third-party advertising networks or data brokers. The app may interact with system-level services like Apple Music, Spotify, or FaceTime only to retrieve information necessary for displaying your activities in the Dynamic Island.

5. Permissions

LiveNotch requires the following macOS permissions to function properly:

• Accessibility: To read system notifications and active window information
• Screen Recording: To display content in the notch area
• Notifications: To show alerts when needed

These permissions are used solely for app functionality and do not enable data collection.

6. Data Storage

LiveNotch stores user preferences and settings locally in your macOS system preferences folder. This data includes:

• Theme preferences (light/dark mode)
• Display customization settings
• Feature enable/disable states

This data never leaves your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the application.

7. Payment Information

If you purchase LiveNotch, your payment is processed through secure third-party payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal). We do not store your credit card information or payment details on our servers.

8. Children's Privacy

LiveNotch does not knowingly collect any information from anyone under the age of 13. The app is not directed toward children.
